PARTNER Rehabilitative Robot
Overview
Currently I am working with Dr. Wolbrecht at the University of Idaho. His researched is focused on neuro-rehabilitation of stroke victims using robotic assistance. This robot is designed to facilitate rehabilitation of stroke victims who have lost control of their upper arm. Patients will hold a handle at the center of the parallel bars and be tasked with many different dynamic tasks.
My Responsibilities
- Designed this solid model of the robot
- Making mechanical improvements and developing the controls
